Victoria Falls is one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. Found on the Zambezi (middle Zambezi River), it is a unique falls formed on the plains. It spans almost 1700 metres across the river. Of these, 1500 metres are in Zambia and about 200 metres are in Zimbabwe. The falls themselves are over 100 metres high. Zambezi is one of the greatest rivers of Africa. The others being Nile, the Congo and Niger rivers. The Victoria Falls is a beehive of tourist activities. You do not just go there to see the falls, but an opportunity to experience a host of other activities around the falls. This tour also gives you an opportunity to have a glimpse into Zimbabwe (because the falls are shared with Zimbabwe).

Our 6 Days Tour - Itinerary
Day 1:

You are picked from your home or hotel early. Everyone is in the vehicle by 06hrs in the morning. You do your immigration and other border formalities at the Malawi/Zambia Border. You will be travelling most of the day with rest and snack breaks on the way. You will have a major stop at the Luangwa River to tour the surrounding area and have a look and view of the suspended bridge. You will arrive in Lusaka late afternoon. Your accommodation will be either at Pioneer Lodge or PROTEA HOTEL Arcades on bed and breakfast. Both are 3****facilities.

Day 2:

You depart Lusaka (PROTEA HOTEL ARCADES or Pioneer Lodge)after breakfast around 07.30am. You will drive through the City of Lusaka, a city of about 2 million people. You will stop after 50km to view the Kafue River, one of the biggest rivers in Zambia. You will proceed passing through some towns and countryside of Zambia. Your major stop will be at Choma. You will have your lunch break. After your lunch you will visit the Choma Museum, a historical museum of Zambia, the province and district. You start off and arrive in Livingstone by late afternoon. You will check in at your hotel on bed and breakfast. Your hotel will be PROTEA Livingstone or similar other facilities in Livingstone depending on availability of space at the time of tour.

Day 3:

This is your busy day. After breakfast you depart at 08hr for the falls, your first activity of the day is a comprehensive tour of the falls. You will, on this activity visit the information office where you read all information about the falls. You visit the flood plains, the Knife Edge Bridge, the islands, close range with the water curtain, the historical bridge and many other interesting features of the falls. You are back to your hotel by noon for your lunch. After a rest you depart for the Mosi Otunya National Park for a game drive. After your game drive you will go straight to the Water Front for your Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River. This is a famous cruise that has been there for over 50yrs. You take a cruise on the Zambezi in a ship. On this cruise, drinks (beer, softies), food are all part of the deal. You have your dinner in the ship and you are only picked up around 19hrs to your hotel for a night on bed and breakfast.

Day 4:

On this day you are given a chance to undertake activities of your choice. Victoria Falls has a myriad of activities. Choose what you want to do and we facilitate your participation in that activity. So many activities available depending on time of visit. These include Bungee Jump, day safari to Chobe National Park in Botswana, Day safari to Hwangwe National Park in Zimbabwe, Helicopter Flight over the Falls, micro light flight, walking with lions, elephant rides, visit to reptile farm, white water rafting, tour of Livingstone Town, visit to Livingstone Museum and many more. We facilitate these trips for you(you need to decide in advance what you want to do so we book them for you. You will pay for any activity taken on this day). Or you may choose to relax at your hotel.

Day 5:

You depart early after breakfast on your return trip back to Malawi. You have your lunch and rest break at Choma and proceed to Lusaka. You are either at PROTEA HOTEL Arcades or Pioneer Lodge on bed and breakfast. Day 6:

You depart Lusaka early around 06hrs for the long journey back to Lilongwe. You have your rest and lunch breaks on the way. You are dropped back at your hotel or home.


Per person sharing US$1400, single supplement US$250, minimum 4 PAX to make the tour. Large groups cost on request.


All transfers return, all fuels and lubricants, all accommodation on bed and breakfast, your entry into the Victoria Falls, your entry into Mosi Otunya National Park, your Sunset Cruise, your dinner and drinks on the Sunset Cruise, all guiding and driving services.

Does NOT include:

Your visa to enter Zambia(if applicable), your lunches and dinners(except for your dinner on day 3), your activities on day(the activities you choose to engage in on day 4 of this tour), your medical and travel insurance, your laundry, your drinks and other out of pocket requirements.
